As DanceMasters,LLC. dance instructors Ron Counts and Kit Galvin provide dance lessons, dance seminars and private dance instruction for beginner through intermediate dance in and around Colorado Springs, Colorado.


  1. DanceMasters, LLC. teach and call square dancing as well as instruct classes in Country Western Dance, Country Line Dance, English Country, Contra Dance, Social Dance, Mixers and Ballroom Dance.
  2. DanceMasters, LLC. conduct a variety of interactive dance services in Colorado Springs and the surrounding Pikes Peak region, including weekly Hoedowns, Ballroom classes, American Folk Dances, and dance events at The Carriage Stop in Colorado Springs.
  3. DanceMasters, LLC. will also arrange and conduct party dances for your very special events!

About Kit Galvin About Ron Counts

Kit earned her B.A. and M.A. in French at the University of California, Davis, and speaks fluent French, Spanish, Italian, and English.

Kit lived in Europe 23 years, spending 7 of those years studying classical piano at the Conservatory of Music in Madrid, Spain.

Kit now teaches piano to approximately 45 piano students in their homes in the Rockrimmon, Mountain Shadows and Peregrine areas of Colorado Springs.

Kit is also a graduate of the Heart of Dixie Callers College in Birmingham, Alabama.

Kit is a competent square dance caller who specializes in line dances, mixers and children's play party dances.

Ron earned his B.S. in Agriculture Economics at Virginia Tech and his M.S. in Business Administration at Boston University.

Ron retired from the U.S. Army and a sales career.

Ron calls and instructs square dancing and is a graduate of the Bill Peters Callers College. Ron is a member of CALLERLAB where he has served as Chairman of the Education and Choreographic Applications Committees.

Ron's specialty is calling traditional square dances and contras. He is adept at using a wide variety of square dance formations without needing to increase the number of calls used, thereby promoting an easy entry into square dancing and country western dancing.

Ron believes in providing dance variety by changing formations, adding lines, contras and easy round dances to dance lessons and dance programs.

He is also a ballroom instructor.
